Nuts and bolts or screws screwed together to fasten mechanical parts. All manufacturing machinery requires fasteners categorized by material: carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metals like copper. Nuts connect equipment via internal threads, requiring matching bolt specifications.
Example: M4-P0.7 nuts (M4 = ~4mm inner diameter, 0.7 = 0.7mm thread pitch) pair exclusively with M4-P0.7 bolts. Similarly, 1/4-20 nuts (1/4 = ~0.25" inner diameter, 20 = 20 teeth per inch) fit only 1/4-20 screws.
DISC-LOCK Nuts: Comprise two interlocking cam sections with wedge angles exceeding bolt angles. Under vibration, cams shift to create lifting tension for secure locking.
